I have some DVDs that are near unplayable because of scratches on the media. I would like to know how to return them and get replacement media so that I may use the media license I purchased. Thank you, Eric Vitiello
So they say that when you buy a DVD or VHS you're mainly purchasing a license to watch the movie. Some of my DVDs have scratches on them that have rendered them unwatchable, so I'm guessing I shoud be able to get replacement media for dirt cheap. If not, then the claim that the main part of the purchase price is the medium is false. I'm betting they will say I need to just buy a new copy. What do you think?
